Dr. Safian holds a PhD in Health Care Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Health Care Management, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management.
She is an RHIA [Registered Health Information Administrator], CCS-P [Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based], CPC-H [Certified Professional Coder- Hospital], CPC-I [Certified Professional Coding Instructor], an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer, an ICD-10 Ambassador, and is entering her third year as the Chair of the Continuing Education committee for FHIMA (Florida Health Information Management Association).
Dr, Safian is a teacher of Health Care Administration, Health Information Management, and Coding, both onsite and online, and her wealth of experience is available to MMN members.
